ALC will develop a site specific or corporate health and safety program. These programs can be limited to a single topic such as Confined Space Entry or Lock Out/Tag Out, or we can develop a comprehensive program to comply with not only regulatory requirements, but to reduce or eliminate employee injuries or illness.

A partial list of program topics include:

  • Respiratory Protection
  • Permit Required Confined Space Entry
  • Control of Hazardous Energy (LOTO)
  • Exposure to Lead, Asbestos, or other listen substance
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Communication Standard
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Hearing Conservation
  • Hazardous Waste Operations
  • Laboratory Hygiene
  • Fall Protection
  • Access to Medical Records
  • Trenching and Shoring

On March 1st of each year a Right to Know Survey is required to be filed with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection. ALC will conduct a site investigation to identify and record reportable hazardous materials that may be stored in your building. If no reportable substances are identified, ALC will assist you completing an exemption filing. This survey complies with NYC’s RTK Rules as well as US EPA’s Sara Title III, Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act.

ALC will conduct a thorough workplace audit similar to an OSHA investigation. ALC will issue step by step guidance on how to reduce or eliminate your compliance deficiencies. These audits can be used for capital budget planning, insurance reductions, or to simply verify that your health and safety program is operating as planned. The inspections can be as comprehensive as desired and scoped to address the specific issues your workers face on a daily basis.

ALC’s seasoned trainers can provide engaging training to your staff at your location or ours. Our trainers are authorized by NYS, OSHA, and/or EPA when required. They have presented to small conference room settings and large auditoriums. Our trainers are frequently sent out on the road to provide consistent training to each and every worksite of large corporations.
